As the 2016 BCRL Championship race has come to an end we can proudly look back on another successful year of quality Rugby League. The year started as it ended with the Capilano RFC Cougars asserting their dominance from the outset. Whilst team achievement was dominated by the Cougars there was some truly noteworthy individual accomplishments from a range of clubs. These successes, coupled with a strong, steady and high quality competition have materialised into Canada Wolverines debuts for an unpredicted number of British Columbia players.
