Saints to take on Bobcats this Saturday

History will be made this Saturday when the St Catharines Bobcats and Toronto City Saints both hit the turf for the first time in the official trial for the Canadian Wolverines side.

As we countdown to Canada’s first international on home soil in 15 years, the CRL will break another Rugby League drought in the country by playing its first domestic match since 2003.

Commenting on the inaugural domestic fixture CRL Technical Director, Jamie Lester stated “Not only is this match a huge stepping stone in the development of Canada Rugby League but it also plays an integral role in the preparation to our highly anticipated fixture against USA.”

“Everybody is extremely excited to have an opportunity to play rugby league in Canada"

The match will be played this Saturday, September 4 in Toronto.
